Comment (Development): PRODUCTION UNKNOWN. ABOUT 1924, THIS PROPERTY WAS WORKED BY THE HECEART COAL MINE SYNDICATE. THIS COMPANY CREATED A 25-TON MILL THAT EMPLOYED PNEUMATIC CONCENTRATION. OPERATIONS WERE DISCONTINUED IN 1927.

Comment (Geology): LUNING FORMATION HAS A DIVERSE LITHOLOGY, BUT IT IS GENERALLY LIMESTONE, DOLOMITE AND SHALE. BED DIP 15 DEG-30DEG AND ARE 3-75 FT WIDE.
