Comment (Deposit): RADIOACTIVE MINERALS OCCUR IN ELONGATE BODIES, UP TO SEVERAL FEET IN LENGTH, IN AN IRREGULAR-SHAPED DIKE OF SODIC PLAGIOCLASE (ALBITITE) IN THE HANGING WALL OF A FAULT WHICH SEPARATES THE DIKE FROM THE QUARTZ MONZONITE WHICH IT INTRUDES. U-AND TH-RICH AREAS AND RADIOACTIVE QUARTZ BODIES OCCUR AS LOCAL SEGREGATIONS, BOTH UNDERGROUND AND AT SURFACE, RADIOACTIVE MATERIAL ALSO DISSEMINATED IN GOUGE AND BLEACHED ROCK IN ZONE OF HYDROTHERMALLY ALTERED GRANITIC ROCK.

Comment (Workings): SHORT ADIT, RAISE TO SURFACE, SMALL PITS

Comment (Production): POSSIBLY A SMALL AMOUNT IN 1955.

Comment (Geology): THE DIKE ROCK CONSISTS OF SODIC PLAGIOCLASE, MINOR EPIDOTE, BIOTITE, MUSCOUITE, AND APATITE. THE DIKE IS NEARLY VERTICAL, TRENDS APPROXIMATELY N50W, AND HAS BEEN DISPLACED BY FAULTS IN SEVERAL PLACES.
