Comment (Geology): THE ANTIMONY OCCURS PRIMARILY AS STRINGERS OF STIBNITE, IN THE QUARTZ VEINS, BUT ALSO SPARSELY DISSEMINATED THROUGHOUT THE REST OF THE QUARTZ. THE STIBNITE IS COARSE-GRAINED AND HAS NOT BEEN OXIDIZED FOR MORE THAN A FEW FEET BELOW THE SURFACE.

Comment (Production): PRODUCTION OF 19 TONS ORE AVERAGING 36% SB WAS RECORDED IN 1940

Comment (Deposit): SITUATED ON THE CREST OF PENNSYLVANNIA HILL, 5 MILES SOUTH OF MOUNTAIN CITY. PRODUCTION OF 19 TONS OF ORE, CONTAINING 36% SB WAS RECORDED IN 1940. WORKINGS CONSIST OF A CAVED INCLINED SHAFT, A SHALLOW SHAFT, AN ADIT, AND SEVERAL PITS
