Comment (Workings): MOST OF THE WORKING CONSIST OF DREDGE TAILINGS, BUT OLDER WORKING CONSIST OF SHAFTS, ADITS AND TRENCHES.

Comment (Geology): GOLD PARTICLES GRADUALLY DECREASE DOWN STREAM, WITH NUGGETS UP TO 1 OZ. REPORTEDLY FOUND IN UPPER HALF OF GULCH. MANY NUGGETS CONTAINED QUARTZ. GRAVEL COMPOSED OF GRANITES, SCHISTS, CHERT, QUARTZ.
