Comment (Deposit): Discovery Year: 1904-1905

Comment (Workings): QUARTZITE SHAFT-200 FT DEEP WITH 4 LEVELS 50 FT APART. BLACK BUTTE SHAFT IS 150 FT DEEP WITH 3 LEVELS, EACH ABOUT 10 FT BELOW THE QUARTZITE'S LEVELS. A 545-FT TUNNEL CONNECTS THE TWO SHAFTS, AND THERE IS A CHAIN OF HORIZONTAL STOPES ON A FLAT VEIN

Comment (Location): ON NORTH SIDE OF BLACK BUTTE. PART OF CLAIM BLCK LIES IN NYE COUNTY.. UTM IS TO ONE OF SEVERAL SHAFTS ON THE PROPERTY. ; INFO FROM LAND.ST :1982

Comment (Development): THE MINES WERE CONSOLIDATED IN 1905. PRIOR TO THAT, A CONSIDERABLE BODY OF ORE HAD BEEN STOPED BY LESSEES.

Comment (Deposit): FLAT VEINS CONTAIN ERRATIC BUNCHES OF ORE ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF THE BUTTE. ON THE NORTH SIDE WAS AN IRREGULAR LENTICULAR MASS
