Comments

Comment (Deposit): QUARTZ VEINS IN GRANODIORITE HAVE BEEN PROSPECTED FOR GOLD. SEVERAL OF THE VEINS IN PROSPECTS WERE SAMPLED IN SAMPLES 2908 AND 2910. SAMPLE 2909 WAS FROM A SMALL CROSS-CUTTING ADIT IN GRAYISH-BLACK SHALES WITH DISTINCT YELLOW COATING (U OXIDES?) ALONG BEDDING FRACTURES. THE CONTACT BETWEEN PEGMATITE AND HORNFELS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT AREA OF URANIUM CONCENTRATION.

Comment (Workings): NUMEROUS PROSPECT PITS, TRENCHES, DOZER CUTS, DRILL PADS

Comment (Development): EARLY WORK WAS FOR GOLD; LATER EXPLORED FOR URANIUM. LAST STAKING WAS IN 1971. LOCALLY, THE SEDIMENTS HAVE BEEN CUT BY NUMEROUS BENCHES THAT WERE USED AS DRILL PADS. ALL OF THIS WORK DATES FROM THE PERIOD OF URANIUM EXPLORATION, ALTHOUGH BOTH PERIODS OF WORK AND STAKING ARE IN CLEAR EVIDENCE. 12 CLAIMS.

Comment (Location): BENCH CUT IN SADDLE ON RIDGE ; INFO FROM LAND.ST :(1972)
