GREATER THAN AS MUCH AS 0.68% LI IS PRESENT IN THE ROCKS IN THE ROCKS IN THE FORM OF HECTORITE AND SOME OTHER LITHIUM-BEARING MINERAL

Comment (Deposit): TARGET IS FLAT-LYING, PROBABLY LENTICULAR. BODIES OF HECTORITE, A LI-BEARING WHITE MONTMORILLONITE CLAY, PRIZED FOR ITS HIGH PLASTICITY AND VISCOSITY IN LIQUIDS. THICKNESS, EXTEND, AND TONNAGE OF HECTORITE IS UNKNOWN. THERE ARE NO OUTCROPS IN THE AREA, BUT EXTENT OF THE CLAY-BEARING SEDIMENTARY UNIT IS INFERRED
