Comment (Deposit): CUT EXPOSES BANDED MARBLEIZED LIMESTONE AND GARNET TACTITE. 3 TACTITE BANDS EXPOSED IN CUT ARE SEPARATED BY BLUE CHLORITIC MATERIAL. TACTITE IS LACED WITH BLUISH WHITE QUARTZ VEINS 2-3 INCHES THICK. TACTITE BANDS ARE MAINLY RED - BROWN GARNET, EPIDOTE WITH CLOTS OF QUARTZ AND SOME CALCITE. SOME EPIDOTE CRYSTALS ARE UP TO 2 INCHES LONG, FLAT-GROWING ON FRACTURE SURFACES. CHLORITIC HORNFELS IS COPPER-STANINED. GRANITE OUTCROPS ON WEST, NORTH AND SOUTH OF CUT; METASEDIMENTS PROBABLY REPRESENT A SHALLOW ROOF PENDANT IN GRANITE.
