Comment (Commodity): LANDES (1902), REFERED TO AN INCOMPLETED CROSSCUT THAT WAS TO INTERSECT VEIN AT A DEPTH OF 600 FT, WHERE VEIN WAS SAID TO BE 25 FT THICK AND TO CARRY A MAXIMUM VALUE OF $60/TON. MORE RECENT LITERATURE MAKES NO MENTION OF THE CROSSCUT AND CITES CONSIDERABLY LOWER VALUES.

Comment (Deposit): UPPER ADIT, ON CHICAGO NO 1 CLAIM, WAS DRIVEN INTO A 2 FT THICK IRON-OXIDE-RICH GOUGE ZONE. LOWER ADIT INTERSECTS AN 8 FT THICK, SPARSELY MINERALIZED QUARTZ VEIN.
