Comment (Deposit): SURFACE DEPOSIT (COVERED BY 6 TO 18 IN OF SOIL) OF BOG IRON COVERING AN EXPOSED AREA 12 DY 24 FT IS SAID TO BE AS MUCH AS 20 FT, DEEP. DEPOSIT CONSISTS OF SPONGY LIMONITE CONTAMINATED BY INCLUDED SAND, FLOAT AND SMALL OUTCROPS IN AN AREA OF 30 TO 50 ACRES, BUT ORE IS NOT CONTINUOUS OVER THIS WHOLE AREA.
