Comments

Comment (Location): .25 MILES SW OF SIDNEY PEAK

Comment (Workings): PROPERTY IS DEVELOPED BY TWO SHAFTS, ONE 85 FT, THE OTHER 275 FT DEEP. THESE ARE ABOUT 600 FT APART AND ARE CONNECTED ON THE 85 FT LEVEL. IN THE 275 FT SHAFT, DRIFTS HAVE BEEN DRIVEN AS FOLLOWS: 70-FT LEVEL E 125 FT, W 20 FT; 100=FT LEVEL E 125 FT, W 350 FT; 150-FT LEVEL E 85 FT, W 525 FT; 200-FT LEVEL E 50 FT, W 450 FT; 275-FT LEVEL E 100 FT, W 500 FT. CROSSCUTS BETWEEN THE THREE VEINS EXPOSED IN THESE WORKINGS ADD ABOUT 1000 FT TO THE ABOVE DEVELOPMENT. THE PRINCIPAL ORE SHOOT WAS TOPED FOR A LENGTH OF 260 FT ON THE 100-FT LEVEL. THE STOPE IS FROM 2 FT TO 6 FT WIDE. IT WAS ALSO STOPED FROM 150-FT TO 100-FT LEVEL. ON THE 150 AND 200 FT LEVELS, THREE VEINS OR THREE BRANCHES OF THE SAME VEIN HAVE BEEN WORKED. THE FOOTWALL BRANCH IS THE STRONGEST AND IT WAS IN THIS BRANCH THAT THE STOPING HAS BEEN DONE.

Comment (Reserve-Resource): CONSIDERABLE TONNAGE REMAINED IN MINE. ALSO SEVERAL THOUSAND TONS ON DUMP REPORTED TO CARRY SAME VALUES.

Comment (Deposit): SERIES OF VEINS, EACH 1-2 FT THICK. VEIN FILLING CONSISTS OF QUARTZ AND SILICIFIED SCHIST.

Comment (Deposit): 260 ACRES
