Comments

Comment (Deposit): DEPOSIT CONSISTS OF GOLD MINERALIZATION OCCURRING ALONG A HIGH-ANGLE FAULT THAT JUXTAPOSES ANDESITE (HANGING WALL) AGAINST THE MT. LAIRD TUFF (FOOT WALL). DRILL HOLES HIT LIMESTONE AT A VERY SHALLOIW DEPTH. AS MUCH AS 1 PPM AU IS IN HIGHLY ARGILLIZED AND LIMONITE STAINED VOLCANIC ROCK IN THE FAULT ZONE. LIMONITE IS OXIDATION PRODUCT OF PYRITE AND SOME LIMESTONE IS PYRITIC.

Comment (Workings): WORKINGS CONSIST OF 13 RELATIVELY SHALLOW DRILL HOLES.

Comment (Commodity): ASSAYS WERE FOR GOLD ONLY

Comment (Development): FREEPORT DISCOVERED THE GOLD ANOMALY IN 1987 AND DRILLED HOLES IN 1988. WESTERN MINING IS EXPLORING IN 1989.
