Comment (Deposit): ORE BODY IS A LONG, NARROW SHOOT, STRIKE SLIGHTLY WEST OF NORTH; ONE SILL BELOW THE QUARTZITE THUS ELEVATING THE ORE HORIZON CONSIDERABLY ABOVE THE SAME ZONE IN THE CLINTON MINE TO THE WEST. A SMALLER SILL IMMEDIATELY OVERLIES THE ORE.

Comment (Workings): MINE IS ENTERED BY DRIFTS EXTENDING IN FROM BOTH SIDES OF THE RIDGE.

Comment (Geology): THE PORPHYRY SILL INTRUDED BELOW THE QUARTZITE, THUS ELEVATED THE ORE HORIZON ABOVE THE SAME ZONE IN THE CLINTON MINE TO THE WEST. A SMALL SILL OVERLIES THE ORE.
