A COMPOSITE SAMPLE FROM ACCESSIBLE DEPOSITS IN THE TWO CANYONS ASSAYED 13.5 PERCENT TIO2, 3.7 PERCENT ZRO2, 12.7 PERCENT FE, AND 0.08 PERCENT EQUIVALENT THO2. THE POTENTIAL RESOURCES OF TITANIFEROUS SANDSTONE IN 16 UTAH DEPOSITS, INCLUDING THE CROTEN AND SUNDAY CANYONS, ARE ESTIMATED AT 1,043,000 ST WITH WEIGHTED AVERAGE GRADE PERCENTS OF 17.98 TIO2, 5.67 ZRO2, 20.98 FE, AND 0.01 EQUIVALENT THO2.
