Comment (Workings): MOST OF THE DEVELOPMENTS WERE IN THE LATE 1800'S ON WHAT WAS THEN CALLED THE "COPPERHEAD LS" ON THE NORTH SIDE OF THE "MARTHA FAULT"

Comment (Geology): THE MARTHA CLAIM IS LOCATED ON WHAT WAS ONCE ONE OF THE STRONGEST QUARTZ VEINS IN THE DISTRICT, THE OUTCROP OF WHICH FORMS A JASPER-QTZ LEDGE, IS TRACEABLE FOR 1000 FT ON AN E-W COARSE
