Comment (Deposit): CIRCULAR TO OVAL ZONED PEGMATITE CONSISTS OF WALL ZONE OF QUARTZ-MICROCLINE-BIOTITE, RELATIVELY LARGE QUARTZ-MICROCLINE CORE, AND CORE-MARGIN ZONE OF MINOR FLUORITE AND REPLACEMENT ALLANITE-GADOLINITE.

Comment (Workings): OPEN CUT

Comment (Orebody): Orebody is 60' X 75', approx. circular. Wall zone. Core is composite quartz plus microcline. Replacement Unit. Described as "very deep. (about 50') cut into vertical core; core margin contains large 6-8 inch allanite crystals and minor fluorite. Mined for quartz and microcline." (RS-11, p. 98)

Comment (Location): Described in RS-11 (p. 98) as "Easternmost pegmatite of the SE4 of the SW4 of sec. 2,", #19 on pl. 1 of RS-11. However, E-most in that section is also the southermost, which would fit the description of Madonna No. 1. Therefore, coordinates are for the next pit on topo to the north of the southmost pit, at a very deep hole that fits description of deposit.

Comment (Commodity): RS-11 does not mention gadolinite at this location. See Madonna No. 3.
