Comments

Comment (Geology): THE BEDDING-PLANE THRUST BETWEEN THE BUSBY QUARTZITE AND THE LIMESTONE LOCALIZED ORE IN THE LIMESTONE. THE ORE IN THE NORTHERN WORKINGS WAS MOSTLY OXIDIZED (NOLAN, 1935, P. 146).

Comment (Development): A COMPRESSOR IS AT THE TOP OF THE DUMP AT THE SOUTHERN WORKINGS.

Comment (Deposit): THE GALENA-QUARTZ VEINS OCCUPY N20E, 50-65 NW DIPPING FISSURES AND N40-50W, 22-90 SW DIPPING FISSURES. THE NORTHEAST-STRIKING FISSURES WERE EXPLORED IN THE NORTHERN WORKINGS; THE NORTHWEST-STRIKING FISSURES WERE EXPLORED IN THE SOUTHERN WORKINGS.

Comment (Workings): NORTHERN WORKINGS: A 380 FT. ADIT (INCLUDING DRIFTS AND CROSSCUTS) DRIVEN BENEATH TWO SHAFTS. THE SHAFTS DO NOT CONNECT. SOUTHERN WORKINGS: TWO ADITS, UPPER AND LOWER, BOTH OVER 300 FT. (INCLUDING DRIFTS, CROSSCUTS), CONNECTED BY AN INCLINED SHAFT AND A WINZE.

Comment (Location): LOCATED IN SPOTTED FAWN CANYON

Comment (Production): SOME ORE WAS PRODUCED IN 1937.
