Comment (Production): SHAFT SUNK IN SILICA-CARBONATE ROCKS IN 1870'S AND IT WAS REPORTED THAT ORE AVERAGED $30 TO $40 PER TON IN GOLD AND CONTAINED IN ADDITION SILVER, IRON, MANGANESE, ANTIMONY, AND TRACES OF NICKEL. THERE IS NO RECORD OF PRODUCTION.

Comment (Deposit): SHAFT IS 200 YDS NORTH OF SIR FRANCIS DRAKE HIGHWAY AND 0.3 MI. WEST OF THE SAN GERONIMO -NICASIO ROAD. IT HAS BEEN FILLED IN AS A SAFETY PRECAUTION.
