Comment (Deposit): DEPOSIT ASSUMED TO BE VOLCANIC VENT CUTTING THRU CRETACEOUS MANCOS SHALE ON NE FLANK OF ANTICLINE. OTHER ROCK TYPES OBSERVED AT SITE INCLUDE WEATHERED SANDSTONE (PROBABLE VOLCANIC TUFF) AND POSSIBLE CONGLOMERATE. BASALT WALLROCK NOTED TO BE HEAVILY FE-STAINED, BUT NO MINERALIZATION VISIBLE.
