Comment (Workings): TUNNEL DRIVEN AS ACCESS TO LOWER WORKINGS AND DRAINAGE WITH A S48-50W TREND, AND APPROXIMATELY 4 MILES, FOR DALTON-LARK, YOSEMITE, BROOKLYN, LEAD, COMMERCIAL, TELEGRAPH, JORDAN, ETC. BECAME THE MAIN HAULAGE FOR US AND LARK MINES; SEVERAL PITS AND TRENCHES; INACCESSIBLE; CLOSED.

Comment (Geology): THE HOSTROCKS ARE A SUCCESSION OF FLOWS OF LATITE. THE MAIN HORNBLENDE BIOTITE-LATITE CONTAINS BLOCKS OF HORNBLEND-AUGITE-LATITE. THE COUNTRY ROCK IS INTERSECTED BY SLIP PLANES (NW-SE; DIP NE). VOLCANIC BRECCIA CONSISTS OF SUBANGULAR TO SUBROUNDED LITHIC FRAGMENTS, COMMONLY UP TO 2 INCHES IN LENGTH, SET IN A DENSE MOSTLY APHANITIC LATITE MATRIX.
