Comment (Location): Location of tunnel in Sec. 3 is unknown. It is not shown on topo of Seminoe Dam NE. Lat/Long. coordinates are for near center of section.

Comment (Location): Tunnel somewhere in Sec. 3. Coordinates are for near center of section. However, air imagery display this ground as sedimentary. The granite outcrops to the north. Therefore, tunnel is likely in the NE4 of the section, east of Hanna Leo Rd.

Comment (Geology): "A tunnel was driven into granite 'with the hope of striking a gold or silver vein at depth.' A few quartz veins crop out in the vicinity." (Bull. 50, p. 83)
