Comments

Comment (Development): OLD WORKINGS, BUT EXACT AGE IS UNKNOWN. FIRST PERIOD WAS FOR GOLD, LATER FOR MERCURY, AND RECENTLY DRILLED FOR GOL-D (MARCH, 1986)

Comment (Commodity): CINNABAR AND GOLD IN QUARTZ VEIN

Comment (Deposit): ON 250,000 TONOPAH SHEET, WARRIOR MINE SHOWN TO BE IN MINERAL COUNTY, COULD BE SAME AS COSTA PROSPECT. ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT; 2 UNPUB REPT; 3 FIELD OBSERV

Comment (Location): NEW ROAD TO TOP OF HILL 1 MILE SOUTH OF WARRIOR MINE. AREA OF PROSPECTS EXTENDS OVER INTO MINERAL COUNTY. UTM IS FOR NBMG SAMPLE SITE 3153. UTM FOR NBMG SAMPLE SITE 3-154 IS N 4273530, E 427200 ; INFO FROM LAND.ST :(1972)

Comment (Deposit): WORKINGS ARE ON A HILL ABOUT 500 FT ABOVE AND 1 MILE S OF WARRIOR MINE, BUT WITHIN THE SAME WELDED TUFF UNIT. MOST- OF THE WORKINGS ARE ALONG SILICIFIED ZONES WITHIN SHEARS THAT- CUT THE VOLCANICS LIKE A STOCKWORK. SAMPLE 3153 WAS FROM A VE-IN IN AN INCLINE BEARING S30E, 80W. ADJACENT TO THE SHAFT, A D-RILL HOLE HAS BEEN SLANTED TO CROSS THE SAME VEIN. THE VEIN MA-TERIAL WAS IRON-STAINED QUARTZ STRINGERS AND LESSER AMOUNTS OF- BRECCIA WITH QUARTZ FRAGMENTS AND A MATRIX CONSISTING IN PART- OF GRAY-BLACK FINE CRYSTALS OF SULFIDES. THE AMOUNT OF BRECCI-A PRESENT IS SUBORDINATE TO THE AMOUNT OF QUARTZ. SAMPLE 3154 -IS FROM ANOTHER SHAFT TO THE WEST THAT WAS ALSO ADJACENT TO A -SLANTED DRILL HOLE. THIS SECOND VEIN WAS IN A SHEAR BEARING N -40E, DIP SW, WITH STRINGERS OF IRON-STAINED QUARTZ AND SOME AL-UNITE CRYSTALS.

Comment (Workings): TEN OR MORE SHAFTS, SEVERAL ADITS, NUMEROUS TRENCHES AND PROSPECTS AS WELL AS RECENT ROADS AND DRILL HOLES.
