Comment (Location): ACCURATE LOCATION IS FOR THE MAIN WORKINGS OF THE AUSTIN-AMAZON MINES AS SHOWN ON THE BURRO PEAK TOPOGRAPHIC QUADRANGLE.

Comment (Development): TEJANO MINING CO. CONDUCTED A SMALL DRILLING AND SAMPLING PROGRAM IN THE LATE 1950'S.

Comment (Workings): WORKINGS REPORTED TO CONSIST OF FIVE SHAFTS UP TO 200 FT. IN DEPTH AND ABOUT 2500 FT. OF DRIFTS, CROSSCUTS AND TUNNELS. UNDERGROUND WORKINGS WERE CAVED AND INACCESSIBLE IN 1961. SURFACE WORKINGS CONSIST OF NUMEROUS PROSPECT PITS AND OPENCUTS.

Comment (Deposit): DEPOSITS OCCUR AS VEINLETS AND FRACTURE FILLINGS IN ORE SHOOTS WHICH WERE STOPED AN AVERAGE OF 8 FT. IN WIDTH. 14 PATENTED CLAIMS MINERAL SURVEY NUMBERS 499 AND 1752 COVERING ABOUT 255 ACRES.
