Comment (Development): MADISON MINES CO. LEASED CLAIMS FROM SELAH CHAMBERLAIN ESTATES AND THEN GRANTED A 30 YEAR LEASE TO THE TREASURE HILL MINES CO.

Comment (Production): THAD STEVENS MINE PRODUCED ABOUT 40,000 DOLLARS WORTH OF ORE BY 1932

Comment (Workings): INCLUDES THREE MAIN WORKINGS: MORGAN AND BULLION TUNNELS AND THAD STEVENS SHAFT. MORGAN TUNNEL IS 600 FEET LONG AND FROM IT ARE DRIVEN MANY WINZES, DRIFTS CROSSCUTS AND RAISES, INCLUDING THE PAULSON WINZE AND WESTERN KING INCLINE, THESE RESULT IN A TOTAL LENGTH OF WORKINGS OF OVER 3,665 FT. THE BULLION TUNNEL IS APPROXIMATELY 180 FT LONG WITH A 700 FT. NORTHEAST DRIFT AND A 300 FT. NORTH DRIFT. THAD STEVENS SHAFT IS COLLAPSED.
