Comment (Development): MINING BEGAN HERE PROBABLY ABOUT THE 1920'S. A SMALL MILL WAS INSTALLED IN THE 1920'S AND ANOTHER IN 1941 BUT RECOVERY WAS POOR, AND ONLY A FEW SMALL SHIPMENTS OF GOLD WERE MADE. EXPLORATORY WORK AND TESTING WERE DONE IN 1932 BY O. J. BELLEVILLE OF MINA.
