Comment (Workings): 300-FOOT GENTLE INCLINE, AND SEVERAL HUNDRED FEET OF WORKINGS ON SEVERAL LEVELS. AT INTERVALS OF ABOUT 30 TO 40 FEET DRIFTS WERE MADE EACH WAY FROM THE SHAFT AND THE ORE BETWEEN STOPED OUT.

Comment (Deposit): FISSURE VEIN, 3 TO 15 INCHES WIDE, FROZEN TO THE WALLS IN DIORITE. VEIN MATERIAL MOSTLY QUARTZ WITH DRUSY OPENINGS CARRYING PYRITE, A LARGE PART OF WHICH IS ALTERED TO LIMONITE AND HEMATITE, ALSO TOURMALINE AND AG-PB MINERALS. ALL THE RICH ORE OCCURS IN FIRST HUNDRED FEET BELOW SURFACE. BELOW THE 100-FOOT LEVEL THE VEIN WIDENS TO 20 OR 25 INCHES BUT IS VERY LEAN IN AG-PB MINERALS.
