Comment (Production): SOME ORE MILLED DURING 1954, AT THE WORKING FACE, THE GOUGE ZONE CONTAINED AN ESTIMATED 0.75% WO3. NO PRODUCTION FIGURE AVAILABLE.

Comment (Deposit): TACTITE IN SHEAR ZONE IN GRANODIORITE

Comment (Deposit): SOME ARE THIN TABULAR BODIES WHICH FOLLOW THE BEDDIG PLANES, BUT MOST ARE CHIMNEYS OR POCKETS OR VERY IRREGULAR SHAPE.

Comment (Location): SE 1/4 SE 1/4; UTM EST.

Comment (Deposit): SCHEELITE IS IN TACTITE FRAGMENTS AND IN GREEN CLAY GOUGE SURROUNDING THE TACTITE. NARROW VEINLETS OF PURE SCHEELITE UP TO 2 IN. IN WIDTH CUT BOTH GRANITE AND GOUGE ALONG FAULT.

Comment (Workings): TWO SLOT-STOPES AND AN ADIT HAVE DEVELOPED THE SHEAR ZONE BENEATH APLITE DIKE. UPPER STOPE IS 10 FT. HIGH BY 6 FT. WIDE AND 30 FT. LONG. 20 FT. BELOW IS AN ADIT DRIVEN N30W FOR 60 FT. SECOND STOPE IN 20 FT. IS IMMEDIATELY ABOVE THE ADIT.

Comment (Geology): GEOL.DESC: LIMESTONE CROPS OUT OVER ENTIRE HILL BEHIND MINE. GRANODIORITE - LIMESTONE CONTACT LIES 300 FT. TO THE NW. AN APLITE DIKE ABOUT 18 INCHES WIDE STRIKING N45E, DIPS GENTLY NORTH, OVERLIES DEPOSIT. SHEAR ZONE DOES NOT APPEAR TO CUT DIKE.
