Comment (Location): IN THE CIBOLA NATIONAL FOREST. ACCURATE LOCATION IS SHOWN ON THE ROUGH MOUNTAIN TOPOGRAPHIC QUADRANGLE. ; INFO FROM LAND.ST :(1954)

Comment (Deposit): FLUORSPAR OCCURS WITH BARITE, GALENA, COPPER OXIDES, COPPER SULFIDES, AND QUARTZ IN TWO MINERALIZED BRECCIA ZONES THAT TREND NORTH AND NORTHWEST IN LIMESTONE. FINELY GRANULAR FLUORITE APPEARS TO HAVE REPLACED THE MINERAL THAT ORIGINALLY CEMENTED THE BRECCIA FRAGMENTS. 23 UNPATENTED CLAIMS REPORTED IN 1966.

Comment (Workings): THE DEPOSIT WAS WORKED THROUGH A 230 FT VERTICAL SHAFT AND ABOUT 200 FT OF DRIFTING ON THE 130 FT LEVEL. ADDITIONALLY, A TEST PIT WAS DUG ON THE SURFACE.
