SAMPLING ON ADELAIDE IN 1943 ASSAYED FROM $1 TO $7 PER TON WITH GOLD AT PRESENT PRICE. BOTH MINES IDLE; NO RECORD OF PRODUCTION.

ON THE ADELAIDE, PYRITE HEAVILY IMPREGNATES VEIN MATERIAL AT NUMEROUS POINTS; GOLD OCCURS PARTLY IN THE FREE STATE AND PARTLY IN INTIMATE MIXTURE WITH THE PYRITE; ASSOCIATED MINERALS ARE GALENA AND CHALCOPYRITE; PRESENCE OF TELLURITE MENTIONED IN AN OLD REPORT NOT CONFIRMED.
