Comment (Deposit): ONE ORE SHOOT LIES IN A QTZ. BODY. AT FIRST LANDING MINE ARE LENSES OF SCHEELITE ALONG CONTACT BETWEEN SILICATED LIMESTONE AND MICA SCHIST.

Comment (Workings): FIRST LANDING MINE: 2, 50 FT. SHAFTS WITH SEVERAL HUNDRED FEET OF HORIZONTAL WORKINGS. GOOD HOPE MINE; 100 FT. DRIFT ADIT. ROCKY POINT MINE; ADIT AND STOPE

Comment (Geology): GEOL.DESC: ROOF PENDANT IS COMPOSED OF MICA SCHIST AND LIMESTONE. NARROW EMBAYMENTS 100 - 300 FT. WIDE OF QUARTZ DIORITE EXTENDS INTO THE NORTH END OF PENDANT 1,000 FT. FROM MAIN MASS OF IGNEOUS ROCKS. NW TRENDING TABULAR MASSES OF QUARTZ DIORITE ARE ALSO WHOLLY ENCLOSED IN THE PENDANT, THESE ARE NOT CONNECTED TO THE MAIN MASS BUT ARE SIMILAR.
