Comment (Development): ORIGINAL WORK PROBABLY IN 1800'S. PRODUCED 1913-1916. TAILINGS LEACHED IN 1936. AERIAL TRAM CARRIED ORE TO CANYON.- NO RECENT WORK; NO OBVIOUS CLAIM STAKES (1984). PROPERTY HAS BEEN IDLE SINCE 1917.

Comment (Deposit): ORE OCCURS IN TWO VEINS IN LIMESTONE OVERLAIN BY RHYOLITE FLOWS. QUARTZ VEIN 0.5-1 M WIDE, STRIKING N 50E, DIP 40 NW, EXPOSED FOR 200 M BY WORKINGS AND PITS. VEIN CUTS PRIDA ARK-OSE AND ARGILLITE RESTING ON RHYOLITE PORPHYRY OF KOIPATO. GO--666 SHOWS FAULT CONTACT ON NORTH BUT NO EVIDENCE IN OUTCROP ON-E WAY OR THE OTHER.
