Comment (Location): NE EDGE OF EAST RANGE; NW 1/4 SEC. 6

Comment (Deposit): DEVELOPED BY SIX ADITS, TOTAL WORKINGS 3500 FEET. ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT; 2 UNPUB REPT; 3 FIELD OBSERV

Comment (Deposit): MILKY QUARTZ VEINS GENERALLY LESS THAN 30 CM WIDE CUT PHYLLITE AND CONGLOMERATE WHICH IS CALCAREOUSLY CEMENTED. TH-E ROCKS ARE FAULTED AND FOLDED AND MAY BE NEAR A MAJOR N-TREND-ING HIGH-ANGLE FAULT. STOPES AND MAJOR WORKINGS WERE NOTED ALO-NG A N-S, 0-35E, LOW ANGLE (THRUST?) FAULT ZONE. THE REMAINING- VEIN MATERIAL IS UP TO 30 CM WIDE. BUT STOPES ARE ABOUT 1.5 M- WIDE. THERE IS SPARSE SERICITE IN THE VEINS WHICH CONTAIN SCA-TTERED LIMONITE CONCENTRATIONS. NO SULFIDE MINERALS WERE OBSER-VED IN THE SAMPLES EXAMINED. SCHEELITE OCCURS IN THE QUARTZ.; MODEL NAME COULD ALSO BE: POLYMETALLIC VEINS.

Comment (Workings): 6 ADITS, SOME OPEN STOPES, NUMEROUS BULLDOZER ROADS AND ROTARY DRILL HOLES, OLD BUILDINGS BELOW THE ADITS.

Comment (Geology): NUMEROUS 1-24 IN. WIDE QUARTZ STRINGERS & VEINS PARALLEL A NNE-TRENDING FAULT THAT DIPS STEEPLY

Comment (Production): UP TILL 1936, PRODUCED $250,000 IN AU ORE. FOR PRODUCTION RECORD OF ENTIRE DISTRICT, SEE AULD LANG SYNE MINE REPORT

Comment (Development): NO ACTIVITY AT TIME OF EXAMINATION IN 1984 ALTHOUGH NUMEROUS BULLDOZER ROADS AND ROTARY DRILL HOLES ARE PRESENT
