Comment (Location): MAIN WORKINGS LOCATED IN SECT. 32.

Comment (Production): SEVERAL TONS OF FLOAT WERE COLLECTED AND ONE CARLOAD OF ORE SHIPPED IN 1918.

Comment (Workings): ORE WAS COLLECTED MAINLY FROM SURFACE FLOAT OR ALLUVIAL DEPOSITS. IN 1918, THE WANDERER MINING CO. SANK AN INCLINED SHAFT 15 FT. BELOW THE CREEK BED AND 30 FT. BELOW THE GROUND LEVEL. AND DROVE A NUMBER OF IRREGULAR DRIFTS WHICH INTERESECTED OLD WORKINGS.

Comment (Deposit): PIECES OF CHROMITE FROM 1 IN. TO 1 FT. ACROSS WERE MINED FROM RIVER DEPOSITS. OCCASIONALLY, BOULDERS UP TO 12 TONS WERE FOUND, ALSO. ORE WAS ESPECIALLY ABUNDANT IN LOWER MOST BEDS, WHICH RESTED ON SERPENTINE.
