Comments

Comment (Production): THE PRODUCTION TABLE IS OF THE DISTRICT OF WHICH THE ARROWHEAD MINE IS THE MAIN PRODUCER.

Comment (Deposit): VEINS ARE FAULTED OFF 160 FT WEST OF THE SHAFT. MINES ARE CONFINED TO A NARROW N-TRENDING ZONE OF HIGHLY ALTERED M-IOCENE TUFFS AND INTRUSIVE RHYODACITE. ON THE WEST THERE IS A -MAJOR ARCUATE TRANSCURRENT FAULT AND SHEAR ZONE. SIMILAR SUBPA-RALLEL FEATURES BOUND THE EAST SIDE OF THE NARROW ZONE. THE CE-NTRAL BLOCK IS A STRUCTURALLY INTERMEDIATE PLATE THAT HAS BEEN- THRUST OVER OLIGOCENE VOLCANICS. IT HAS BEEN SUGGESTED THAT T-HE DEEPER WORKINGS MAY PENETRATE THE PLATE, AS IS SUGGESTED BY- THE PRESENCE OF PALEOZOIC RUBBLE ON THE ARROWHEAD DUMPS.

Comment (Workings): WORKINGS CONSIST OF A 345 FT. DEEP INCLINE SHAFT WITH FOUR LEVELS.

Comment (Development): NO ACTIVITY AT TIME OF EXAMINATION IN 1985
