Comments

Comment (Deposit): SERIES OF 3 OR MORE VEINS. MOST OF THE ORE AND VEIN FILLING IS LOOSE AND FRIABLE. NO. 1 VEIN (SW) IS 6-10 FT WIDE AND OUTCROPS ON SURFACE ABOUT 1/4 MILE. THIS VEIN HAD ORE OF GOOD GRADE, NO. 2 VEIN CONTAINS MUCH BARITE AND LOW VALUES IN AU & AG.

Comment (Geology): ANDESITE AND RHYOLITE PORPHYRIES ARE TRAVERSED BY A SERIES OF FISSURES HAVING STRIKES AVERAGING ABOUT S35E, BUT VARYING FROM S15E TO S65E. THE FISSURES CONTAIN VEINS OF QUARTZ AND ALTERED COUNTRY ROCK. POST-MINERALIZATION FAULT MOVEMENTS HAVE CRUSHED AND PULVERIZED THE VEIN MATERIAL. ORIGINAL MINERALIZATION BY GOLD AND SILVER WAS AT TIME OF FORMATION OF THE VEINS. LEACHING AND ALTERATION BY HOT SPRING ACTION HAVE REDISTRIBUTED THE SILVER VALUES TO A CONSIDERABLE EXTENT AND THE GOLD VALUES TO SOME EXTENT.

Comment (Production): ESTIMATED $50,000

Comment (Development): THE MINE HAS BEEN WORKED AT IRREGULAR INTERVALS OF TIME FOR MANY YEARS

Comment (Workings): WORKINGS EXTEND THROUGH VERTICAL DEPTH OF 400 FT. ABOVE THE NO. 2 OR NW VEIN, AND 200 FT. BELOW MAIN TUNNEL LEVEL.
