Comment (Workings): 3 SHAFTS, 300, 280 AND 100 FT DEEP. 300-FT SHAFT HAD LEVELS AT 100 AND 200 FT. A LARGE PART OF BROKEN ORE WAS SLABBED FROM FOOT AND HANGING WALLS OF OLD STOPES, WHICH WERE WIDENED FROM 6 FT TO 10 FT.

Comment (Geology): K4:GANGUE: QUARTZ, PYRITE; SERIES OF MINOR FAULTS (NW-SE) DISPLACES VEIN(S). DISPLACEMENT VARIES FROM 3-10 FT.

Comment (Deposit): 10 CLAIMS. PART OF TROPICO MINES HOLDINGS. 160 ACRES.

Comment (Location): MINE ON STANDARD HILL

Comment (Production): FREE-MILLING ORE.

Comment (Deposit): 4 PARALLEL VEINS ALONG RHYOLITE PORPHYRY DIKES. THICKNESS OF VEINS RANGES FROM 2-6 FT. ORE SHOOT DEVELOPED WAS 700 FT LONG, 7 FT THICK. ON 300-FT LEVEL, THE ORE SHOOT APPARENTLY WAS BROKEN INTO SHORT LENSES, WHICH MAY HAVE BEEN WEDGES FORMED BY FAULTS. SIMILAR CONDITION ENCOUNTERED AT TROPICO MINE.
