Comment (Geology): THE MINERALIZATION AT THE FIRST THOUGHT OCCURS IN THE GNEISS AND QUARTZITE OF THE METAMORPHIC COMPLEX OF CONCONULLY NEAR THE CONTACT OF THE CONCONULLY PLUTON OF CRETACEOUS AGE (RINEHART, 1981; STOFFEL, 1990).

Comment (Production): THE MINE PRODUCED ORE VALUED AT $66,000 FROM 1892 TO 1893. PRODUCTION CAME TO AN END DURING THE SILVER PANIC OF 1893. SEVERAL SMALL SHIPMENTS OF SILVER ORE WERE MADE FROM THE MINE IN THE 1920'S (MOEN, 1973, P. 16).
