Comments

Comment (Reserve-Resource): NO NUMBERS GIVEN FOR AMOUNT OF RESERVES.

Comment (Development): TOTAL$: 1

Comment (Development): FREEDOM FLATS DEPOSIT DISCOVERED DURING A PEDIMENT DRILLING PROGRAM SOUTHWEST OF BOREALIS DEPOSIT. THE THIRD DRILL HOLE OF THE PROGRAM INTERSECTED THE MAIN HIGH-GRADE CORE. FREEDOM FLATS LIES ONLY 2000 FT. SOUTHWEST OF THE ORIGINAL BOREALIS DEPOSIT AND REMAINED UNDISCOVERED DESPITE SEVEN YEARS OF EXPLORATION IN THE DISTRICT. DRILLING PRIOR TO 1986 PROGRAM HAD DRILLED TO WITHIN 50 FT. OF SOUTHEASTERN EDGE OF FREEDOM FLATS, INTERSECTING THICK ALTERED INTERVALS BUT ONLY SCATTERED INTERVALS OF DETECTABLE GOLD. ; ECON.COM: OVERALL STRIPPING RATIO OF 9.8:1. CUT-OFF GRADE WAS 0.02 OPT GOLD.

Comment (Deposit): SURFACE PROJECTION OF DEPOSIT 1200 FT. BY 200-250 FT. MORE THAN 75% OF MINED OUNCES OF GOLD IN STEEPLY PLUNGING ZONE 400 FT. BY 150-200 FT. IN PLAN.

Comment (Commodity): AU OCCURS AS SUB-MICRON SIZE PARTICLES IN SULFIDE AND IRON OXIDE MINERALS. AG:AU RATIO RANGES <1:10 IN UPPER PORTION TO >10:1 AT DEPTH, AVERAGES 5:1. AS AND SB HIGHLY ANOMALOUS IN UPPER PORTION, DECREASE WITH DEPTH. CU, PB, ZN SLIGHTLY ENRICHED IN LOWER PORTION OF DEPOSIT.

Comment (Reserve-Resource): DISCREPANCY BETWEEN ORIGINAL RESERVE ESTIMATE (149,000 OZ. AU) AND TOTAL PRODUCTION (195,200 OZ. AU) ATTRIBUTED TO SMALL HIGH GRADE ORE LENSES NOT INTERSECTED BY DRILLING AND PROBLEMS WITH SAMPLING METHOD AT THE EXPLORATION DRILL RIG.

Comment (Location): FREEDOM FLATS LIES WITHIN THE LUCKY BOY DISTRICT AS DEFINED BY NEVADA BUREAU OF MINES AND GEOLOGY. IT ALSO LIES WITHIN THE RECENTLY DEFINED BOREALIS DISTRICT (ENG, 1991). OTHER DEPOSITS IN THE BOREALIS DISTRICT ARE BOREALIS, EAST RIDGE, NORTHEAST RIDGE, GOLD VIEW, DEEP ORE FLATS.

Comment (Production): FREEDOM FLATS WAS HIGHEST GRADE AND MOST PRODUCTIVE OF THE DEPOSITS MINED IN THE BOREALIS DISTRICT. MINED OUT IN 1989.
