Comments

Comment (Workings): SERIES OF TUNNELS AND OPEN CUTS

Comment (Deposit): IF THE DOUGLAS IS THE SAME AS THE NEWMAN, THERE IS SOME DISCREPANCY, AS THE SAME AUTHOR SAYS THE NEWMAN IS IN THE SE 1/4 ALL REFERENCES SEEM SOMEWHAT CONFUSED IN THE LOCATIONS OF THE MINES AND PROSPECTS IN THIS SECTION

Comment (Production): PRODUCTION REPORTED TO HAVE BEEN ABOUT 3000 TONS PRIOR TO 1888, WHICH SEEMS QUITE LARGE SINCE THESE DEPOSITS WERE NOT DISCOVERED UNTIL 1882 OR LATER; POSSIBLY THIS MINE MAY BE THE SAME AS THE NEWMAN (CEDAR MTN., MENDENHALL)
