Comment (Geology): GEOL.DESC: LARGE BOULDER LIKE MASSES OF ORE HAVE STRIKE LENGTH OF 40 FT. ORE IS SILICEOUS MANGANESE OXIDE, VERY DISCONTINUOUS AND VARIABLE IN TENOR. IT IS ASSOCIATED WITH GREENSTONE AND ALTERED GREENISH SANDSTONE. ORE BED STRIKES N 30 W, AND PROBABLY DIPS 20 S. W., WITH 5 FT. MAXIMUM WIDTH. QUARTZ VEINLETS CUT THE BED. ANOTHER ORE BODY, 10 FT. LONG, 4 FT. WIDE, IS ASSOCIATED WITH GREENSTONE AND ALTERED SHALE.
