Comment (Geology): ORE HOSTED IN FRANCISCAN COMPLEX--L. TO L. ; GEOL.DESC: ORE LIES IN FRANCISCAN CHERT, AND IS FOUND IN 3 BODIES, EACH OF WHICH IS SEPARATED BY A FAULT. ORE ZONE IS 300 FT. LONG. WESTERNMOST ORE BODY ATTAINS MAXIMUM THICKNESS OF 8 FT., BUT AVERAGES ABOUT 6 FT. EASTERN 2 ORE BODIES ARE ABOUT 3 FT. THICK. TOTAL DEPTH EXPOSED IS ABOUT 100 FT.
