DEPOSIT IS SAID TO HAVE FORMED IN A HOT SPRING ENVIRONMENT DURING MIOCENE FAULTING AND VOLCANISM AND IS CHARACTERIZED BY QUARTZ-ADULARIA VEINS, SOTCKWORKS OF VEINS, AND BRECCIA ZONES CEMENTED BY SILICA
