Comments

Comment (Location): Original political location in record is Beaverhead county. However, original lat/long plots 16 km inside adjacent Ravalli county. Original coordinates were: lat/long NAD27 45-59-27N 113-43-15W (45.9908 -113.7208); UTM N5096410 E289281 Z12N; PLSS line# 1: Meridian- Montana Principal, TWNSHP 003 N, RNG 013 W, Sect 21, Sect_fract NWSWSE. PLSS coordinates translate to 45 57N 113 13W, exactly 30 minutes longitude east of the original lat/long, and in yet a third county, Deer Lodge. This is 11 km away from Beaverhead county. Potential duplicate record 10013884 has the same PLSS coordinates. The reporter likely mistyped the longitude. So it was corrected by 30 minutes east to 113-13-15W and the county name was changed to Deer Lodge.
