Comment (Deposit): CAVED SHAFT OF UNKNOWN EXTENT, SIZE OF DUMP SUGGESTS SEVERAL FT OF WORKINGS. MOST ROCK ON DUMP IS ALTERED LIMESTONE, SOME GRANITIC PORPHYRY ROCK. OUTCROP NEAR SHAFT CONSISTS OF GOSSAN, ALTERED ROCK, LIMONITIC GOUGE, NEAR CONTACT WITH IGNEOUS ROCK. A SMALL AMOUNT OF ORE ON DUMP CONTAINING CHALCOPYRITE, SPHALERITE, AND MAGNETITE. NO RECORD OF PRODUCTION, MAY HAVE BEEN A SMALL AMOUNT OF COPPER AND ZINC.
