Comments

Comment (Production): TOTAL PRODUCTION (OF CONCENTRATES 44 PERCENT CR2O3) PRIOR TO S 2500 TONS ORE RAN 15 PERCENT CR2O3, CR/FE=2.3 INSUFFICIENT DATA FOR MATRIX CALCULATIONS. ANALYSIS BY CDMG IN 1976 GAVE FOLLING PERCENTAGES-DISSEMINATE S102 04.33, CR2O3 53.35, FEO 11.07, TOTAL FE 13.51, AL203 12.28, 84, CR/FE 3.48.

Comment (Reserve-Resource): MAT 1 COL 1 REPRESENTS TOTAL RESOURCES. MAT 1 COL 2 REPRESENTS UPPER PIT ORE. MAT 1 COL 3 REPRESENT UPPER-MIDDLE EXTEN. MAT 1 COL 4 REPRESENTS MIDDLE PIT ORE. MAT 1 COL 5 REPRESENTS MIDDLE-LOWER EXTEN. MAT 1 COL 6 REPRESENTS LOWER PIT HG ORE. MAT 1 COL 7 REPRESENTS LOWER PIT LG ORE. MAT 1 COL 8 REPRESENTS LOWER PIT LANDSLIDE RUBBLE.

Comment (Environmental Factors): CHROMITE DEPOSITS IN THE CHORRO CREEK WATERSHED ARE NOT SULFIDES WITH POTENTIAL TO GENERATE ACID MINE DRAINAGE THOUGH THEY MAY ERODE CHROMIUM, ALUMINUM, MAGNESIUM, IRON, MANGANESE, TITANIUM, CALCIUM, SILICON, AND NICKEL TO THE WATERSHED. METALS WHICH APPEAR TO BE ERODING FROM INACTIVE MINES INCLUDE MAGNESIUM, IRON, NICKEL, AND CHROMIUM. SAN LUISITO CREEK, PENNINGTON CREEK, AND UPPER CHORRO CREEK APPEAR TO BE THE MOST HEAVILY MINE-IMPACTED TRIBUTARIES IN THE CHORRO CREEK WATERSHED.
