Comment (Geology): STRIKE IS N60 TO 90W; DIP IS 60S. LENGTH OF MINERALIZATION IS AT LEAST 671 M.

Comment (Deposit): VEIN WIDTH INCREASES AND GRADE DECREASES WITH DEPTH. AT A DEPTH OF 750 FT, THE VEIN IS 80 FT WIDE, BUT WAS REPORTED TO CONTAIN ONLY $3.00 IN COMBINED GOLD AND SILVER VALUES WITH A 58:1 RATIO OF GOLD VALUE TO SILVER VALUE. BECAUSE, IN ABOUT 1910, THE PRICES OF GOLD AND SILVER WERE $20.67/TR OZ AND $0.54/TR OZ, RESPECTIVELY, THE ORE GRADES CAN BE CALCULATED AS ABOUT 0.14 TR OZ/ST AU AND ABOUT 0.09 TR OZ/ST AG. AT THESE GRADES, THE "LARGE TONNAGES" REFERRED TO BY WILSON, CUNNINGHAM, AND BUTLER CERTAINLY CONSTITUTE A SIGNIFICANT RESOURCE. ACCORDING TO NIEMUTH, CONSTRUCTION OF AN AGITATION LEACH FACILITY AND PRODUCTION FROM TAILINGS BEGAN IN LATE 1986.
