Comments

Comment (Ownership): PHELPS DODGE IS DISCOVERER OF PINE GROVE DEPOSIT, AND HAS AN AGREEMENT WITH GETTY OIL CO. TO EVALUATE, AND IF WARRANTED, DEVELOP THE SUOTHERN UTAH DEPOSIT.

Comment (Geology): MINERALIZATION IS FOUND IN A HIGHLY ALTERED QUARTZ LATITE WHICH OUTCROPS AS A SMALL STOCK. DEEPEST HOLES DRILLED THUS FAR HAVE FOUND AN INCREASE IN ALTERATION AND MINERALIZATION WITH DEPTH INDICATING THAT THE HIGHER GRADE CORE OF THE DEPOSIT HAS NOT YET BEEN DISCOVERED.

Comment (Exploration): THE FIRST 4 HOLES INTERSECTED LENGTHS OF MINERALIZATION AT DEPTHS BETWEEN 915 AND 1525 METERS. AT CUT OFF GRADE OF 0.20% MOS2, INTERSECTIONS VARIED FROM A MAXIMUM OF 290 M TO A MINIMUM OF 60 M
