Comments

Comment (Location): Original county name is Granite. However, lat/long and PLSS coordinates fall 190 m inside adjacent Ravalli county. Original coordinates were: lat/long NAD27 46-37-7N 113-49-5W (46.6186 -113.8181, WGS84 46.61646 -113.8181); UTM N5166422 E284234 Z12N; PLSS line# 1: Meridian- Montana Principal, TWNSHP 010 N, RNG 018 W, Sect 14, Sect_fract SESE. The PLSS coordinates indicate the lat/long should changed to WGS84 datum. That results in moving the point 350 m inside Ravalli county, and closer to Prospect marks on the Cleveland Mountain quad map. So the datum was changed to WGS84 and the county name was change to Ravalli.
