Comment (Names): Previous record D002496 (newMRDS 10107820) was for "Fluorite Nos 1 - 8". Only reference was to Stevens, Bull. 1082F. There is no mention of claims with these numbers in that volume.

Comment (Location): Claims may extend a few tens of feet across the NE corner of Sec. 15 and NW corner of Sec. 14.

Comment (Ownership): The Fluorine Mine (on the Fluorine claims) was purchased by Western Fluorspar Corp. (owner of the Fluorspar properties about 1 to 1-1/2 mi west) in 1943. The Baker Pit is on the Fluorine property.

Comment (Identification): Do not confuse the Fluorine Vein properties with the Fluorspar Vein properties. Fluorine vein is SE of and continuous with the Camp Creek vein. The Fluorspar Vein properties are about 1 to 1 1/2 miles west.

Comment (Deposit): THE FIRST COMPLETE INTERMOUNTAIN FIELD OPERATION CENTER (IFOC) EVALUATION OF THIS PROPERTY WAS COMPLETED DURING 1982 IFOC, DENVER, COLORADO 80225. NO IFOC INSPECTION OF THIS FACILITY WAS MADE PRIOR TO OR DURING THIS EVALUATION.

Comment (Workings): CLAIM PATENT DESCRIPTIONS DESCRIBE THE MINING DISTRICT AS THAT OF COPPER RIDGE, A NAME FORMERLY APPLIED TO A LARGE, INDEFINITE AREA IN NORTHERN COLORADO AND SOUTHERN WYOMING. THIS NAME HAS BEEN DROPPED FROM LOCAL USAGE, AND THE MORE RESTRICTED AREA IN THE VICINITY OF THE FLUORSPAR DEPOSITS NOW IS CALLED THE NORTHGATE DISTRICT, AFTER THE SHIPPING POINT OF NORTHGATE ON THE UNION PACIFIC RAILROAD.

Comment (Reserve-Resource): NO PUBLISHED OZARK-MAHONING RESERVE DATA COULD BE FOUND AT THE TIME OF THIS 1982 MAS PROPERTY EVALUATION.

Comment (Production): ACTUAL RECOVERIES FOR THE ACID GRADE FLUORSPAR CONCENTRATE (PA) AND THE BRIQUETTES (PB) ARE 44.5 AND 43.6 PERCENT, RESPECTIVELY, FOR THE FLOURSPAR. ACTUAL SIO2 ORE-TO-CONCENTRATE RECOVERY FOR CONCENTRATE-TO- BRIQUETTE RECOVERY IS 0.306 PERCENT. SIO2 IS EXPECTED TO INCREASE FROM THE FLUORSPAR CONCENTRATE TO THE BRIQUETTES BECAUSE OF IMPURITY SIO2 CONTAINED IN THE CA(OH)2 ADDED AS ONE OF THE BRIQUETTE BINDER MATERI- ALS.
