Comment (Location): NUMEROUS PITS AND TRENCHES ARE ALONG THE COMMON WEST SIDELINE OF SEC. 6, T. 7 N., R. 44 E. AND SEC. 1, T. 7 N., R. 43 E. FOR 1 MILE. THE POINT OF REFERENCE USED IS THE ONLY SHAFT LOCATED ON BAXTER SPRINGS 7.5 MIN. TOPO, IN EXTREME NW CORNER SEC. 6, T. 7 N., R. 44 E. RELOCATED WITHIN ROSE CREEK NOS. 1-49 BY WESTERN STAR RESOURCES IN 1984. MAY HAVE POSSIBLE VANADIUM MINERALS. PROPERTY INVESTIGATES QUARTZ VEINS ALONG GRANITE/METASED CONTACT WITH LENSES OF BARITE. USFS 2810 FILES SHOW LEE HIATT LEASED PROPERTY TO ROBERT FRANTOT IN 1984. ONE OF 20 U.S. BUREAU OF MINES SAMPLES CONTAINED 2.7 OZ. SILVER AND 0.4 PERCENT LEAD. LEE HIATT, MANHATTAN, NV CALLED HIS CLAIMS WINDY HILL. U.S. GEOLOGICAL SURVEY MRDS DUPLICATE NOS. HIATTE PROSPECT (M233578) AND WINDY HILL PROSPECT (M055312).
